Seven-A-Side Soccer is the official version of Soccer used in Nova Scotia Special Olympics, and is the official SOC sport as well. As the name implies the game is played with 7 players on the field for each team, one of whom must be the goalkeeper.

The vast majority of rules are identical to FIFA or CSA rules, with modifications being made to decrease the field and goal sizes. This brand of soccer is fast paced with lots of scoring opportunities and non-stop action. With no off-sides and a smaller size field the game is enjoyable for spectators as it is for the athletes. Soccer is the fastest growing sport in Canada, and our 7-A-Side brand is an example why.
